For a reputable client in the Aargau area, we are looking for an experienced individual as IT Support (NOC) 100%. In this role, you will ensure the stable, secure, and efficient operation of the network infrastructure and take on a central role in analyzing and resolving challenging network disruptions.
Your Responsibilities:
- Operation, monitoring, and further development of the existing network infrastructure
- Ensuring the availability and stability of LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN, and firewall environments
- Analyzing and resolving complex network disruptions in 2nd and 3rd level support
- Monitoring systems using modern network and monitoring tools
- Execution and coordination of changes, updates, configuration adjustments, and maintenance work
- Processing incidents, problems, and service requests in compliance with agreed service levels
- Assistance in implementing network and security requirements
- Participation in network projects, migrations, rollouts, and technical optimizations
- Coordination with internal specialist departments, external partners, and manufacturers
- Maintenance of technical documentation as well as accurate recording in the ticketing and documentation system
Your Profile:
- Completed training in the field of computer science, systems technology, or a comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience in network operations, NOC, or network engineering is an advantage
- Solid knowledge in the areas of routing, switching, TCP/IP, VLAN, VPN, DNS, and DHCP
- Experience in the operation and administration of firewalls and network security solutions
- Experience with network monitoring, ticketing, and documentation systems
- Exceptional skills in systematic fault analysis and sustainable troubleshooting
- Independent, structured, and security-oriented working method
- High service orientation as well as clear and understandable communication
- Very good German skills and good English skills
- Team player, resilience, and willingness to work shifts or on-call duties
